How Do I Get Help?

If you feel that you or a family member has an Eating Disorder you should seek help and advice from your GP or Consultant Psychiatrist if you have one as soon as possible. If you are concerned for someone else you should advice them to seek help from a profession and support them through this time. If it is for yourself you may also want to tell a close family member or friend so that they can support you in your recovery.

If you are reluctant or worried about seeking help you may find the Bodywhys website useful. This web site will offer more information and provide you with the details of; online support groups, Support Groups in your local area and an e-mail service. Bodywhys also provide a confidential helpline for people suffering from an Eating Disorder or for friends or family members. Click Here for the Bodywhys website.
